Where did KathIsCrafty come from?

I blame my lovely mum for my obsession with cardmaking!

She was already a devotee, and when I was a long term hospital patient and climbing the walls with boredom, she suggested I make a "few cards". A few hundred cards later, I was thrown out of the ward, (probably because the long-suffering staff had complained about the sequins and bits of paper everywhere!) and carried on with my hobby. When my friends eyes began to glaze over as I became a craft bore, I had the idea of taking my interest further, and I had a trial run at a friend's daughter's party, which was a great success .

I'd like to issue a friendly warning here - a visit to one of my parties may turn your child into an obsessive collector of anything that can be stuck to a piece of card!!
